Analizējot pieejamos literatūras avotus var secināt, ka ir daži literatūras avoti uz kuriem atsaucās daudzi tālākie pētījumi. Pirmais vienkāršotais velosipēda modelis, kas ir pamats vairākiem darbiem ir izstrādāts 1948. gadā izdotajā grāmatā S. Timoshenko and D.H. Young, Advanced Dynamics [5]. Nākamais nozīmīgais literatūras avots 1982. gadā J. Lowell and H. D. McKell izdotajā darbā „The stability of bicycles” [8]. Tas ir iepriekšējo ideju turpinājums par velosipēda stabilitāti un izanalizēti vairāki vienkāršoti modeļi. Šajā darbā galvenais secinājums ir, ka noteicošais faktors velosipēda stabilitātei priekšējās dakšas ģeometrija. Kuras ietekmi 1970. gadā ļoti detalizēti bija izpētījis D. E. H. Jones savā darbā „The stability of the bicycle” [6]. Vēlākajos gados liela nozīme tiek piešķirta autonomā velosipēda modeļa izstrādei, kas plašu ieskatu sniedz daudzos rakstos un publikācijās, kas apskatīti iepriekš. Daudz skaidrojumu un labi saprotamu aprakstu sniedz 2005. Gadā publicētais darbs „Bicycle Dynamics and control” Karl J. Åström, Richard L. Klein and Anders Lennartsson [7].
Fajans, Joel "Steering in bicycles and motorcycles" 2000. gadā publicētais raksts par pagrieziena veikšanu ar velosipēdu un motociklu ir interesants un saistošs daudzo aprēķina piemēru pēc.
